Owned and run by Stuart & Joanne Campbell from North Lodge in Canonbie, Border Outdoor Pursuits has carefully selected a team of specialists to ensure that your experience is as pleasurable as possible.
You don’t need to worry about what to bring.
All equipment, including safety equipment is provided for multi-activity breaks enabling us to operate within strict safely guidelines. We don’t expect you to notice all these things when out with us, we just want you to enjoy a quality experience without distraction.
About our holidays
Border Outdoor Pursuits provide an active and enjoyable experience of the Scottish Borders and the Lake District for groups who want to enjoy an activity holiday without the hassle of organising routes, accommodation, food, logistics, etc.
Our breaks ensure that escaping to the country is about comfortable accommodation - definitely not roughing it. Our accommodation has been carefully selected for comfort and hospitality. To further enhance your stay with us we arrange an exclusive informal Border Outdoor Pursuits Supper party, fine cuisine prepared for you to enjoy whilst sharing your tales of your day.

Your Guides
All guides and instructors are experienced, qualified and licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. (AALA).
Enjoying the activities
A big part of our holidays is walking and the level of walks available each day can vary and be tailored to suit you and your fellow walkers.
Our walks will always give you the chance to catch your breath with plenty of time to take pictures, take in the view and find out more about what you see from your guide.
Your weekend
Lunches - Our ample packed lunches are included for each day of activities. For canoeing trips this is done 'hamper' style and it is packed individually for walking days.
Group size
Walking groups may be 4, 8 or 12 people.
Multi activity breaks are for a minimum of 8 and maximum of 12 people. With an instructor ratio of 1:4 on high level walks Border Outdoor Pursuits offer you the ultimate care and attention with high regard for safety at all times.
